Starting a Connections-Style Gathering

Since 2011 Holy Trinity Claygate's weekly gathering called “Connections” has been a powerful model of what is possible when we create welcoming communities where older people can experience friendship, support, love and care whilst gently encountering the hope of Jesus.

This new series of short videos has been created to help anyone who has a heart for older people and would like to learn more about running a Connections-style gathering in their own setting. Through a collection of short and practical videos, they explore the vision behind this ministry, how sessions work, ways to build welcoming communities, and how simple acts of hospitality and friendship can help tackle loneliness as well as gently sharing the hope and love of Jesus.
