Mission Partnership with Churches

Helping your whole church become “Faith in Later Life” friendly

More people are living longer, often facing loneliness, loss, and major life transitions. Many of these are not yet believers, some who are, would benefit from journeying more closely with Jesus through this challenging season, and being enabled to respond to God’s lifelong disciple making call. This is a mission moment!

Faith in Later Life is inviting churches to become Mission Partners. This is a simple, more committed relationship to support your Church Champion and help your whole church grow in confidence and fruitfulness in later-life ministry.

What is a Mission Partnership?

A practical partnership between your leadership team, your Church Champion (or seniors lead), and Faith in Later Life, helping older people be:

Reached with the gospel
Discipled as followers of Jesus
Mobilised in God’s mission

What we offer

Tailored support, typically including:

An initial conversation with your seniors lead/Church Champion and a leader
Ongoing support and encouragement for your Church Champion
Optional in-person visit/preach (or recorded message)
Practical ideas to raise the profile of older people
Prayer points 3x per year (plus extra prayer on request)
Access to our webinars, newsletters, and free online resources

What we ask

Prayer: pray for Faith in Later Life regularly
Mission giving: £250+ per year (as your context allows)
2–4 agreed culture steps for the year, for example: improve accessibility; increase visibility online; ensure older people regularly lead up-front; develop seniors ministry; add an older-adult discipleship course/series; preach at least twice yearly on the value and calling of older people.
