We have a heartfelt vision to see communities enriched and older peoples’ lives eternally transformed through the local church.
Will you pray with us and invite God’s power to make our vision a reality in the UK?
For every older person in your community to hear the good news of Jesus and be given the opportunity to explore it for themselves.
For older Christians in your church to experience personal revival - renewed love for Jesus, fresh joy in prayer and Scripture, and Spirit-filled confidence to share faith.
For your church to inspire and facilitate lifelong disciple-making, equipping people to continue making disciples in every situation and season of life.
For Faith in Later Life as we serve the church and champion faith in later life across the UK - bringing wisdom, helpful resources, and a voice for older people to our nation.
Father, draw older people closer to you. For those who already know you, we pray for deeper growth in faith, hope, and love. Strengthen their trust in you through every season, and help them to keep discovering fresh joy and purpose in your presence. May prayer, worship, Scripture, and fellowship continue to nourish and sustain them. Keep them fruitful and steadfast. Let their lives shine your light, and may their example encourage others to keep walking faithfully with you. Amen.
Lord, we pray for seniors ministries in rural areas. Where distances are greater, resources may be fewer, and older people can feel especially isolated, please bring encouragement, provision, and strong local support. Strengthen churches serving faithfully in villages and scattered communities, and give them wisdom, creativity, and perseverance. Help them to notice hidden needs, build meaningful connection, and share the love of Jesus well. May older people in rural places know friendship, spiritual care, and the reassurance that they are not forgotten by you. Amen.
Lord, we pray that our churches would become more intergenerational.
Help younger and older people to know one another, learn from one another, and grow together in love. Break down barriers of habit, assumption, or separation, and build a deeper sense of family across the generations. Give church leaders wisdom to create spaces where every age is welcomed, valued, and included. May older people be honoured, younger people encouraged, and our churches reflect the beauty of your people together as family. Amen.
We are a charity and rely entirely on the generosity of others. Support us and together let's champion faith in later life across the UK.
