50 Bible Studies for use in Care Homes

Drawing on many years of experience in Christian ministry among older people, the late Minister Ewart Helyar together with Buddy Reeve, founder of PARCHE – The Church in Care Homes, prepared this collection of 50 ready-to-use Bible studies for Residential Care Homes, small groups, and outreach settings.

Each study is designed to last approximately 20–30 minutes, followed by a short time of prayer and reflection. Focusing on the Lord Jesus Christ — His person, His life, His teaching, and His miracles — the studies are clear, Christ-centred, and easy to lead, making them suitable for a wide range of group settings.

Accessible, adaptable, and practical in format, this resource is intended to help session leaders feel confident and equipped to share the Gospel, encourage discussion, and bring spiritual comfort and encouragement to older people and small groups alike.
