How can we support people to flourish as they plan for or embarce their retirement?
Event date March 13th, 2024
Speaker: Helen Calder
Retirement is a time of significant change in our lives, similar to major decisions about further education, career, marriage or starting a family. Yet the church has given relatively little airtime or pastoral support to the matter. There’s plenty to consider when you retire: the opportunities and challenges, exploring how God might be calling you for this new season of life, financial matters, leaving work well, the impact on identity, a balanced lifestyle, developing your devotional life, moving home and adjusting to spending more time at home: whether you live on your own or with a spouse.
