A one-day national conference for church leaders and teams on how to develop a thriving connections community in your church organised by the Silver Hope Trust in association with the Diocese of Guildford.

CC26 is a wonderful opportunity for those already with a heart for older people and evangelism (or those keen to learn more) to connect, encounter Jesus and discover more about Connections, one of the largest regular church-based gatherings for seniors in the UK. The conference will equip you to launch a Connections group in your church while building and motivating a sustainable, thriving volunteer team to nurture your ministry's growth.

Holy Trinity, Claygate (HTC) - national pioneer in this field & host of CC26 - has found this weekly Seniors Ministry to be an incredible 'bridge' into church, with many coming to know and love the Lord in the later years of life. Known for both its evangelistic impact and deep pastoral reach, the safe and welcoming Connections community has become a lifeline for a generation who might otherwise face long days of loneliness and isolation.

Pippa Cramer MBE

Pastoral Care & Seniors Minister

Pippa Cramer MBE is Pastoral Care & Seniors Minister at Holy Trinity Claygate, where she has led “Connections”, one of the UK’s largest church-based seniors groups, for 12+ years. With an NHS occupational therapy background, she also pioneered DailyHOPE, a free phone line bringing hymns and gospel hope to isolated older people.
